Occupational Therapy

Ground to Grow Occupational Therapy provides traditional Pediatric Occupational Therapy services. We work 1:1 with your child to develop skills to complete daily tasks. All services at Ground to Grow are rooted in DIR Floortime Principles, emphasizing relationship as the foundation for building skills.

Skills we Address

Activities of daily living

Getting dressed, brushing teeth, self-feeding

Fine motor skills

Writing/pre-writing, cutting, grasping items, using both hands together well

Gross motor

Postural stability, body awareness, and eye/hand coordination in the context of daily activities

Sensory processing

Sensitivities, sensory seeking, sensory avoiding, sensory underresponsivity

Self-regulation

Calming or alerting our body in instances such as meltdowns, hesitancy, over-activity, etc.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy is a service supporting your child to successfully interact with their environment.

We analyze the child’s body systems, the task, and the environment to promote independence and build skills.
